This Privacy Policy explains how VolleyConnect ("VolleyConnect", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the VolleyConnect mobile application and related services (the "Service"). VolleyConnect is a platform where volleyball clubs create profiles and where parents and athletes browse, save, and connect with those clubs. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account information

• Contact details you provide when registering, such as name, email address, and phone number.
• Your account type (parent/athlete or club) and authentication data (securely hashed passwords, one-time verification codes).
• Profile details you choose to add.

1.2 Club and verification information

• Club profile content submitted by club owners, including club name, description, location, contact links, and photos.
• For clubs seeking verification, the owner's identifying details and an uploaded identity document (an "ID document") used solely to confirm the owner's identity and the club's legitimacy.

1.3 Usage and device information

• Aggregated, count-only analytics about interactions with club profiles (for example, how many times a profile was viewed or saved). We do not disclose the identity of any parent or athlete to a club.
• Technical data such as device type, app version, approximate location (for location-based search), and diagnostic logs.
• Push-notification tokens, where you enable notifications.

1.4 Subscription information

• Records of Premium subscription status and entitlement. Billing is processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

2. How We Use Information

• To create and operate accounts and club profiles, and to provide core Service features.
• To review and verify clubs, including reviewing submitted owner details and ID documents.
• To enforce Premium entitlements server-side and to deliver Premium features to eligible clubs.
• To produce count-only analytics for clubs, without exposing any individual's identity.
• To send transactional and, where permitted, notification messages.
• To maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Children's Privacy and Minor Safety

Volleyball participants may be minors. We are designed so that clubs receive only aggregate, count-only analytics and never the identity of an individual parent or athlete. We do not knowingly build advertising profiles of minors. If you believe a minor has provided information in a way that requires our attention, contact us at support@volleyconnect.app.

4. How We Share Information

• With administrators: submitted club and verification data (including ID documents) may be reviewed by VolleyConnect administrators for verification and moderation.
• With service providers: vendors who host infrastructure, deliver messages, or process app-store payments, bound by confidentiality obligations.
• For legal reasons: where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users and the Service.

We do not sell personal information.

5. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Verification ID documents are retained only as long as necessary to complete and evidence the verification decision, after which they are deleted or securely archived in line with our retention schedule. When a club downgrades or its Premium entitlement lapses, Premium-only content and posts are deleted and are not restored on re-subscription.

6. Security

We use technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and restricted administrative access to sensitive documents — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights and Choices

• You may access, update, or delete your account information from within the app or by contacting us.
• You may control push notifications through your device settings.
• Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, port, or erase your personal data, or to object to certain processing.

8. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or by other reasonable means, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised.

10. End User License Agreement (EULA)

This application uses the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), available at: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

By downloading, accessing, or using VolleyConnect, you agree to be bound by the terms of the Apple Standard EULA as well as the terms described below.

Subscriptions

VolleyConnect offers optional automatically renewing subscription plans that unlock premium features and provide access to exclusive content and functionality.

Before completing your purchase, the App will clearly display:

• The available subscription plans
• Current pricing
• Billing period
• Features included with each subscription

Subscription prices may vary by country or region and are subject to change in accordance with Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies.

Automatic Renewal

Unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, your subscription will automatically renew. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.

Managing or Cancelling Your Subscription

You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings after purchase. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel your subscription.

Billing

All subscription payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect or store your payment information.

One-Time In-App Purchases

VolleyConnect may also offer optional one-time in-app purchases. These purchases:

• Are separate from subscriptions
• Do not automatically renew
• Remain available according to the terms of the specific purchase

Changes to Subscription Plans

We may introduce, modify, or discontinue subscription plans or features from time to time. Any changes will be presented within the App before purchase and handled according to the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Acceptance

By purchasing a subscription or using VolleyConnect, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use and the applicable Apple Standard End User License Agreement.
