Club Verification Agreement

This Club Verification Agreement (the "Agreement") applies when a club owner submits a club for verification on VolleyConnect (the "Service"). By submitting your club for verification, you ("you", the "Owner") accept this Agreement on behalf of yourself and the club you represent. This Agreement supplements, and does not replace, the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. What Verification Involves

Verification is a review process in which you submit owner details and an identity document (an "ID document") so that VolleyConnect can confirm your identity and the legitimacy of the club you are registering. Verification is intended to increase trust for the parents and athletes who use the Service.

2. Accuracy of Submitted Information

You confirm that the owner details you provide are true, accurate, current, and complete.
You confirm that the ID document you upload is genuine, unaltered, and belongs to you (or, where permitted, to an authorized representative of the club).
You confirm that you are authorized to submit the club for verification and to accept this Agreement on its behalf.
You agree to promptly update this information if it changes in a way that affects your verification.

3. Authorization to Review

You authorize VolleyConnect administrators to access and review the owner details and ID document you submit for the sole purpose of verifying your identity and the club's legitimacy, and to make an approval, rejection, or further-information decision based on that review. Verification does not guarantee any particular outcome or continued status.

4. How Your Verification Data Is Used and Handled

Owner details and ID documents are used solely to verify the club and are handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Access is restricted to authorized administrators, documents are stored securely, and they are retained only as long as necessary to complete and evidence the verification decision before being deleted or securely archived under our retention schedule. We do not publish your ID document or expose it to other users.

5. Consequences of False or Misleading Information

Submitting false, forged, or misleading owner details or ID documents is a serious violation. It may result in one or more of the following, at our discretion:

Rejection of the verification request.
Removal of the verified status from your club.
Suspension or termination of the club account and associated content.
Loss of any Premium entitlement, with removal of Premium-only content and posts.
Referral to relevant authorities where required by law.

6. Resubmission

If a verification request is rejected, you may be permitted to correct the issues and resubmit with accurate information, subject to these terms and any applicable limits.

7. No Endorsement

A verified status confirms only that a review was completed against the information provided. It is not an endorsement, certification, or guarantee by VolleyConnect of the club's quality, safety practices, coaching, or conduct.

8. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. The version in effect at the time you submit or resubmit for verification applies to that submission, and the "Last updated" date above reflects the current version.
